Importing JPGs

I have a graphic that I need to place either onto my model or onto the drawing. The graphic is currently in a .jpg format.


This graphic is essentially a black and white classification label that will eventually make its way out into the drawing. I'm not exactly sure how to import this file onto my model. I tried to create an AutoCAD drawing with the picture, but Pro/E couldn't read it, so I couldn't do anything with the AutoCAD file.


If this picture becomes a symbol that is inserted into the drawing, that's fine. Or, if it turns into a sketch that can be imported into a cosmetic sketch, that works too.

One way is to convert the jpeg into a bitmap file. Proe can import the bitmap into the drawing.

Importing the graphic in a model and in drawing are two different things,


you can import the graphic onto a model through style feature,


and in drawing through insert object. look at the following figures,
