I would like to get represent command in wild fire-2.

in pro-e-2001 we have that command in Views-represent for hiding perticular feature in perticular view, only in drw.sheet.

for getting that command in wild fire-2 what should i do?

select the view right click onit go to properties/view display there you'll find hidden/no hidden etc.

hope this work for you.

I think what you are looking for is a simplified rep. In WF2, these are only available in assembly drawings, not part drawings. Select view/properties/View States. You will see an option for assembly simplified reps but not parts. The workaround is to make a family table instance with the feature supressed and then add the model & view to the drawing.

Our Pro/E Admin here created a mapkey that allows us to do what you're wanting to do Russel...this is what he did:
I have just found out that the View => Represent View functionality is still available in Wildfire. The REAL problem is that therea re no menus to access it. I have created a mapkey in 2001 that will open the Represent View menu and put it in our current config.pro file.
I hope this helps.

using the mapkeys of 2001,my problem has been solved.

with the previous mapkeys we are getting most previous commands(2001) in 2d.

i would like to get those 2d commands in w.f-2 with out using mapkeys-what should i do?

can't help you there...sorry.

but just a word to the wise - when i'm simplifying views, pro/e tends to crash pretty regularly, so always save before simplify any view. that will save some major frustration.
