k-factor in bom table

My proe is not open now. However, I remember seeing it under Tools-->Parameters...
Note down the parameter name and include it in the repeat region as assembly member parameter name...
Give it a try.

It is smt_k_factor...
However I could not get it as it is in the table.
A work around is thus.
At the model level...
Tools -->parameter---> Define a new parameter say "K_factor" and set it to the value desired.
Edit --> setup--> Bend allowance---> k-factor-->Enter---> at the prompt below enter k-factor. This will set the value of the smt_k_factor to the parameter k_factor defined.
Now at the drawing level...
Define the repeat region table and input the parameter "&k_factor" in the desired cell.
Update the table..... and you are done.
-----------------
Dear mechanical01,
When a sheet is bent the NA( neutral axis) shifts at the bend region thus affecting the developed length. This shift is a property of the material and is called K-factor. Another parameter is the Y-factor. Both K and Y factors are related.
For more information ( and a good one too...) please refer to the Sheetmetal help on K-factor.
