Material Parameter Note

Loki

New member
I created a model parameter called 'MATERIAL' with a string value 'AlZnMgCu1.5 F52'. In a drawing-format I created a note containing the text '&material'. Now when I start a drawing of the model Pro/E just won't fill out the &material parameter. Other parameters like '&model_name' etc. are filled out correctly. Now when I create a new note with the same parameter '&material' it works! What could be the problem? Because I really like the format to work.

I'd also like to know if it's possible to have different font sizes inside 1 cell of a table?

Thanks!

Btw; I'm running Wildfire 2.0 M010...

If I'm the one facing this problem..

I'll open the format, delete the &material and re-create the note again..

"hopes" that it will work.. just hope.. no gurantee..

Hi,

HAdthe same problem.Try putting a space b4 &material(if it allready has one then put one more) Close and regenerate it.It has given me success all the time.

Hope you have set the model from which you want the material as the current model.

Unfortunatly both possible solutions don't work

A bug maybe? I'll try Wildfire 3 as a check...

EDIT:

Same 'problem' in Wildfire 3. Creating a new note with the same parameter inside the drawing works for some reason, I'll stick with that for now...
