Mini challenge for mold design too

Wildfire animation,
seems not so bad.

I just show the movements, but in fact, the slides are drive by hydraulic, its action lag behind the cavity openning. In core side, it need a double ejected system.

I found a big mistake once I finished it,

think about it, when you try to assemble the mold and fix the slides, the slide will move forward and never stop.

It is your guys' task to correct it, there are many detail need to be perfect, such as the slide pin should stick inside for better plastic enclosing... And, please notice the thickness in the area of central B plane, if you have any good idea to make it as an insert?

IGS file, I divide it to 3 parts, and you should open it in "asm" mold.

Hi Leohi,

Any chance of posting a step file.

I'd like to have a look!

Step file is not a good format to work with(my personal opinion
smiley36.gif
), it always contain more errors. If I sent Step to customer, I should probably get some words like"Why I can not open it?".

Throw me a mail too.
