Nice renderings, but look again at the JPGs. It doesn't look to me like the part is shelled.

I haven't had the opportunity to play with this yet and may not now. We'll see.

Jacek : Some pictures of the neck

Doug : Your are right the entire model doesnt appear to be shelled in the jpgs, but does rather appear to have a void in the upper section of this duck.

Michal : SHINNNNYYYY, looks great

Wsylvester : Come on buddy where is your !

Side note:How annoying is it to work with only 50kbs of upload? i thought something was in progress to fix that up? I guess nothing came of that?

puppet, nice model.

The 50k upload sux, I always upload my images to Imageshack now so can go upto 5 meg ( i think).

yeap - renders are awesome(I repeat myself - yes I know!)

Just my opinion but I think the "duck" as you call it just has three holes in it. If you take a look at the models muadib3d and Skint created with just holes and compare those with yours and the model Miko created that have a shell the shadows cast appear to be consistant with the models muadib3d and Skint created. It also appears that the larger pictures of the original model show the hidden lines better. With that in mind if there were a shell feature there shouldn't be hidden lines where those holes are. Take a look at the second set of original pictures and look at the holes in the base and compare that with the holes in the top. There are three hidden lines that go across the model. It also appears to me that a light source was added to the model so it makes it a little difficult to determine what the geometry is especially in the smaller pictures of the first post.

Well PupPet , with what's going on with my family right now, I'm so down in the dumps right now I'm surprised I even check the forum..

I know that "Happy Thanksgiving" doesn't have quite the same meaning but I wish it to you both.

Guess I will be offline for ... heck I don't know how long.. spent most of the day loading the uhaul truck...bowing out of the this< i don't think I canuse the adjectives here> marriage.

The real painful part is with the stepson... no son, tho he may not be blood he is of heart.. and he knows we he stands with me

passing a kidney stone last night didn't really help in the pain phase of it all either

Yeap buddy; Option 4 and throw in cousins and friends family. Screw bikes (that's just a death wish) and Pro-e I had enough of it (40 hrs a week for the last 100 years).
