Multiple Surface Finishes in Drawing

I have a drawing that shows the various machining operations on multiple sheets (i.e. sheet 1: lengths and centers, sheet 2: rough machining one end, sheet 3: rough machining another end, etc.). On the finished sheet, I dimension everything and add surface finishes. Then, on the previous sheet, I again dimension everything and add surface finishes.

The problem: Any surface finishes that are common between sheet 1 and sheet 2 will remove the surface finish from sheet 1 when I place it on sheet 2. I am unable to make two surface finishes exist on the same surface, even though they are on separate sheets. I can understand why this would be desirable in most cases, however I would like to show the same surface finish on the two separate sheets.

Can anyone help me with this?

If you put the second one in using the "leader format", it will not ask you to select the surface. Attch the leader to an extension line of the dimension that defines the surface. Another way is to use the "no leader" method, and free point it on the drawing. Move it to where you want and relate it to the view.
