new (to me) how to avoid stupid dwg tabs

maybe its not a secret here, but i just found out you can hold ALT while working in drawing mode, to allow you to pick *cough* inappropriate items on screen

for example, you want to move a dimension or leader line or something simple, however you left your creo transmission in the wrong tab... clicking at things that don't highlight is uber frustrating, however holding down ALT when you pick, magically makes your clicking work, and you can highlight the dimension without playing treasure hunt in tab land

try it yourself, shift your creo into the layout tab, and try to work with notes or dimensions... you can't do it because your tab is wrong, and all non-tab things are in wallpaper mode... now, come back at that pesky note with the ALT held down (sorry one handed engineers, you lose) and viola, happy days are here again!!

i guess thisimproved functionality was lost on me, since maybe i'ma dinosaur who thought that mouse picks only required one hand... LOL@me!!!!

If you have a multi-button mouse you could bind Alt to one of the extra buttons.

That'll work for one or two handed engineers.
