Not all drawing showing tolerances

Hello all. I am both new to ProE and this forum so please be kind if I miss something obvious.

I have a part with 2 different drawings. One drawing shows the tolerances but I cannot get the other drawing to show them. When I look at each dimension properties, it has the tolerance mode set to as-is and it is greyed out so I cannot select another option. I have Dimension tolerances checked under Model display, though I'm not sure if that only applies to the part or if it also applies to the drawing.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

In the drawing.dtl file set the to_display option to yes. In drawing mode select File>Properties and in the dialog box select Drawing Options. You can scroll through the list or type tol in the Option box on the bottom and tol_display should automatically fill in. Here is a picture for reference. Youmay also want to use the config.pro option tol_mode to set default display of dimension tolerances.

wheels,

there may be few more differences in your drawings which you have not observed yet.

open your refference (which you consider is as per standards)drawing and save the config files used here.

open the other drawing and apply the saved config files here.

thnx

Here is a tip - save out the file to you config folder/or any folder. Then select tools, options - then activate the drawing_setup_file and setup the value as the path to the file using the browse button.

Also. make sure you save the config.pro when done and also verify that the Showing dialog (top left hand corner of options box)box specifies your config.pro. before you change the option. (Otherwise you will have to probably load you config.pro everytime)

By doing this every time you create a drawing form scratch you will already have the drawing options file loaded.

I know ur a newb, so if you need any help just reply.
