If you use Pro/E's basic font (imaginatively named "font") which has equal spacing for all characters (and is butt ugly) then is is very easy to keep things lined up. Just pad the boxes with a few more or less spaces. Also keep all the text the same height for best results. If you use fancy fonts you will have to make a table to keep things aligned.

you could always put the check boxes down the left hand side followed by a consistent number of spaces before starting the text

more blah

[] 3.blah blah blah

The best way that I know, is to create a table with two columns. One for the descriptiuons, and one for the check boxes.

I have the same problem and would like to know if anyone
has found a solution that does what was asked. This is a
simple problem and has been made into a PRO problem by
PTC's very own PROE.

The only way I can make this somehow work is to space
things out with massive spaces until the text is aligned
in the drawing sheet. Then I have to make sure whoever
makes a PDF of my drawing uses stroke all fonts option or
the PDF looks horrible.

Additionally ProE will insert boxes in the texts when i
force it to align by adding extra spaces.

Something I would say.

Just to be nice.. Turn on a grid and snap to it when creating the draft entity line. Do this when creating a symbol of the note or on the drawing.
