parameterize stl

I have been able to draw the skull with mostely boundary belends. i then used the warp function to get the shapes more percise to what i am looking for.

What the goal is now is to put this model into ansys.
I am having trouble connecting the boundary belends togehter. What is a good way to do this?
Also, How should i go about parameterizing the model?

I appreciate the help!

also, does anyone know how to connect my different boundary blends that i have made. i find that they either overlap or are too short. I need a air-tight seal for ansys. any suggestions for this?

i would really appreciate any help people give.

Have you tried to merge the individual BB's (Quilts) together (Edit -> Merge)? You'll need to do this before you can create an "air-tight" model.

Sometimes the merge function can't handle overlapping surface Quilts, in that case create an intersecting curve (Edit -> Intersect), then use the intersect curve to trim away the overlap from the Quilts as needed (Edit -> Trim).

To determine if there are any open edges you can put the model into wireframe mode - open surfaces have a light pink edge and closed surfaces have a dark pink/purple edge. You can change these colors if it helps you to visualize the model better (View -> Display Settings -> System Colors, look on the Graphics and Geometry tabs).

Don't give up - surfacing is a whole new modeling method, but it seems like you are getting the hang of it!
