Pro/INTRALINK 8 - A Big Step Backwards?

If I was a newcomer to the PDM market I would seriuosly consider going to a 3rd party PDM instead of PTC's solutions. There are many out there that work great and overall cost is a fraction of PDMLink. We have been using CheckOut 5.1 and it is easy to use and does everything we need in data management.
