Problems Inserting PDF into Drawing

Hi,

We insert our customers Drawings in PDF form into our company format. It has worked fine for us, but I went into today to insert an updated revision and all that shows up is the Adobe Icon? I am able to resize the Icon but if I print or create a new PDF from this drawing the Actual Icon shows up and not our customer Print?

Thinking it might be a problem with the PDF file I tried inserting just an image into a blank drawing sheet and the same thing, I only get the file name to show up not the actual image? Do I have a setting turned on/off that is causing this? I use both Wildfire 2.0 & 3.0 and it is doing the same thing in both versions.

Thanks for the help!

What I do is save the PDF as a jpeg then open the jpeg in Paint and save it as a bitmap (bmp). I insert the bitmap into the drawing. Note, try different methods when saving the bitmap either 24bit or monochrome depending on if the PDF is in color or not. A monochrome bitmap will have a smaller file size.
