I have an assembly I'm working on for a product. The product can be used in either right / left orientation, but is symetircal, so no need to draw/document left/right handed versions.
But for ordering a complete set my Bill of Materials table needs to show double QTY's of each part.
The easy fix is to add twice the number of parts into the original assembly and hide the duplicates so that the B.O.M shows twice the parts but the drawing doesn't show duplicates.
This is messy and seems unnecessary though.
Does anyone know of a way of tweaking the B.O.M table so that all part QTY's are doubled?
Its easy in Solidworks, you just type in x2 and it doubles the numbers. Whats to do in Pro Engineer?
