You can have tables in the drawing FORMAT that show model parameters. We have a model parameter called RELEASE_STATUS that can have values of PROTOTYPE, TOOLING or PRODUCTION. There is a relation in every model that sets the another parameter DRW_PREFIX to X, T or P respectively. This shows up in the format in a table containing the text {1:&DRW_PREFIX}{2:&dwg_name}.
You could do something similar but have one value blank.
I've been writing relations, using wf3, for parts in an assembly & have things working pretty good so far. Now I need to write relations that control when some of the parts arevisible. This is my deadend. Can I accomplish this with relations & parameters in basic pro/e?
I've tried accessing pro/program but no go. Am I missing somethingor is pro/program an add/on module andnot an included/with module?
Its been a couple of days. Hope I can still help. Yes you can only do this in pro/program. You need an ASX assy license. I am positive you can't do this using relations.
