Hey everybody,

Ok...here's the problem...I am creating a table in a drawing to display all of the parts in the assembly. The problem is there are many subassembles. If I use the report parameter &asm.mbr.name - the parts in the subasseblies doesn't appear. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Omar

Hi!

I usually eliminated all filters, which they arethat has generated problems, lateri give attributes to the table, nexti make subassemblies flat or recursive, andthe end I return to apply filters.

Many thanks everybody...I just have one more step to do....

I need to filter to exclude a specific part. I got it down, but I don't know what syntax to use with the part, &asm.mbr.name != ? - Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for responding Victor,

How do I do that? The thing is I am trying to filter out an entire family table (3 of them to be precise).

sorry is "By Item" you can try

Table/Repeat Region and in the TBL REGIONS choise Filters, then select a region and By Item/Exclude, and then select the items that you want to exclude from your region.

I have figured it out! Instead of having &asm.mbr.name != *118284*, I had &asm.mbr.type != *118284*. The reason I did this was because I had used the &asm.mbr.type != assembly just above it and probably just copied it.

Regardless, Many thanks to Sip and Victor for helping me out!

ahhh by item...

The reason I couldn't use this is because my table updates and sometimes has more or less instances than other in the assembly.

Thanks for the tip though!
