Save a Copy into AutoCad

Hi all,

As I "Save a Copy" of my drawing into *.DWG, WF3 crashes. Did I do anything wrong?

You may have more luck if you export to DXF.


I am an WF2, so no idea what might be causing the problem.

We are using WF2, and can only save as Release 13 .dwg files.

is the file you are trying to export, too heavy.(too big)?

There are few diff. ver. of Autocads in there but there was no differrent if I switch them as I've saved (Even with the extension DXF).
As the same for small files or large files.

Use the following option in your config.pro to force Pro/E to export DXF and DWG file in AutoCAD 12 format: dxf_export_format 12. Without this setting - the default values are:

<LI>for Pro/E 2000i^2 - DXF & DWG exported as AutoCAD ver 13
<LI>for Pro/E 2001 - DXF & DWG exported as AutoCAD ver 14 for DXF and ver 13 for DWG. </LI>[/list]
