Shaded Perpective Views In WF3

Hi People,

finally got WF3 installed this morning so i thought i'd have a look at the new shaded views feature in the drawing package. So i pulled an existing drawing with some nice perspective views in and set them to display shaded. Hit ok and they disappeared only to be replaced with a view from a different angle which still wasn't shaded and half of the assembly was missing. So I guess the question I'm asking is does WF3 not support Shaded perspective views andif not is there and was to turn on perspective on an existing view? If not I will have to delete the views and start again which is a pain because i've got loads of leaders hanging off most of them

Are you meaning projected views or detailed views? I was able to create new projected views that were shaded and were at the correct angle. I even pulled up a drawing done in W2 and changed all the views to be shaded. I also changed a detailed view and had no problems. But everything I changed came from drawings done with W2.

Hi Darraign they are just general views the problem only occurs after I've selected the perspective radio button under the scale section of the drawing view properties form. once I've selected that it can't be changed back to an ordinary isometric view

I've been having a similar problem and
found the perspective works fine if you insert the view as a un-shaded view,
but when you then change it to a shaded view, it switches back to a view with
no perspective. I guess PTC have not incorporated this yet.

Let me know if you make any progress.

Cheers

Sam

Will do Sam I've sort of given up on it, the thing that really annoys me is you can't turn off perspective view once you've turned it on
