Shown Dimension Leader Attachment

A simple one: how do I change the leader attachment on a shown dimension? The leader is attached on the right, but I want it attached on the left. Any way to do this?


Edit attachment doesn't work. When I try it, I receive a message that states:"Can't change attachment for dimension, use move for old mod attach." I have no idea what that means

Not clear on what you are trying to do.
Can you upload an image?


If the dimension you are referring to is in sketch, you need to change it in sketch.
If it is radiu or chamfer, you can erase it and show it on the feature you want.

All I'm trying to do is make it so that the leader for this shown dimension is attached on theleft side of the text. I want the dimension to be placed to the right of the feature. When I place it there, the leader runs through the text, as shown.

Highlight the dimension, then grab the handle on either side to move dim.
