Simplified Reps-Tab Inaccessible

I have a re-accuring problem with the View Manager in ProE. When I have succesfully defined simplified reps within an assembly I will return at a later stage to use the reps or re-define or update the reps and then the Tab for Simp Rep is "greyed out" and I cant access the reps at all. I have found this in both WF2 and WF3. At time I have had success re-starting ProE but I cant access the Tab at all. I am not sure if this can be rectified in Config somewhere or if the error is with ProE

Don't know if this could be your problem, but I've had the same issue and traced it tothe licence I was picking up from our CAD server. We have a number of full licences and a number of FOUNDATION licences on the server. If I get a FOUNDATION licence then the Simplified Reps tab is greyed out - from memory I think the animation option is unavailable as well.

You are absolutely correct I was allocated a foundation licence from the server the day after I created the reps. Typically found after restarting ProE. Our administrator corrected the problem for me


Appreciate the reply becuase we had the same unresolved issue at the prevoius company I worked at. Will relay it to them as well
