i want to use simplify representation in drawing for a single part to show the different stages of part modeling.but how idont know .in assembly this is very easy to do but for single part.............can any one guide me very thanks in advance
right click in the drawing and go to properties then drawing models and select set/add rep and you should be able to pick the rep you want and it will show up if you add a new drawing view after that.
If that doesn't work then try adding the model again and it should allow you to chose the other rep when you add it again into the drawing.
Just some bought wisdom. If you are going to be ballooning these items, you may want to give some serious consideration to using layers instead of simplified reps. With simplified reps, only one simplified rep can drive the BOM balloons, so you won't be able to use parametric balloons on the other reps.
