Hello all,
I'm in the United States, and I have been trying to Google the answer to my question with no luck so far. My question is: Am I required to specify what unit of measure I'm using, say, in the title block or somewhere else on the drawing? I've been trying to find the ANSI standard on this subject, but I have no found it. Where I work, use inches as the standard and do not specify on the drawing. However, when units need to be in milimeters we specify "mm" after each dimension. Is it acceptable to not specify that units are in inches, or should I suggest to my company that we put that somewhere on the title block?
