Spherical Pattern

I need to make a pattern on a ball.... Much like a golf ball.


Does anyone have a technique for doing this or a model they can send me as a reference?

This is a very old problem with multitude of solutions
existing. As I remember, one was started by Israr. A search
of the forum will give you quite a number of solutions.
