Hi Trying to produce a table that Will only display assembly and sub assembly names instead of every component that is within the assembly. Can someone please help me with this issue asap.

For your repeat region:-
Change Attributes to No Dup/Level and recursive
add the filter:-
&asm.mbr.type == assembly

Hi Thanks for the info, I've done as above, but I receive the following: -

Can you please tell me were im going wrong, The picture below show the repeat region options.

Could you please send me the table file that you have used, so I might be able to see were I have gone wrong.

My table repeat region headers were

&RPT.INDEX,&ASM.MBR.NAME,&asm.mbr.DESCRIPTION,&a mp;RPT.QTY

What happens if you remove the filter ?

your heads still dont display &asm.mbr.type == assembly so how do you apply it as a rule? Will this display on the subassembly names?

Thanks for your help, I've done it. I added the filter which then displayed it in a gray screen box.

Then I added it through &asm.mbr.DESCRIPTION.

and it works I hope this is what you got aswell

Paul,

The filter applies even when the type is not displayed in the table.

You should not have to add it through &asm.mbr.DESCRIPTION.

But if you got it working, then you should be ok.
