Taking the scale from detail note?

<DIV>Quick question:</DIV>

<DIV>If you make a detailed view, the drawing note will give the detail's name and scale. How do you remove or blank out the scale from the note? Is there a drawing option for this? I would like the note to remain parametric with the view. Thanks,</DIV>

As far as I know, you cannot delete the "Scale" part of the view's text. If you want the note without the "Scale", you have to "erase" the entire note. Then add a note that just says "DETAIL ?". Then on the top tool bar, select "Edit", then "Group", then "Relate to view". Selectthe view and the note will move along with the view. This however, is not truly parametric. If the name of the view is changed, the note will stay as it was.
