I`d say keep it all regulated by stating Render in pro-e only, using ARX as the maximum advantage, otherwise you`ll have people rendering in 3DS Max etc. This is a Pro-e Forum !!

proposal 6: A washroom/bathroom, you know you are going to be there sooner or later hahah; a sink, bathtub/shower, glass doors...whatever can be handled by a team

so far a computer system has the most votes...unless another one
overtakes it, then this will be the exercise target...If there are any
suggestions for how the exercise should be handled then please send
them out soon...final exercise design will be posted prior to 12:00 GMT September 23

One suggestion, due to the member's limited availability, wouldn't it be a idea to expand the project lead time to approx. 3 to 4 weeks? I mean yes you can just take a computer and model it, or you could have some interesting new concepts to be integrated. Managing the team and setting tasks per person won't even happen in the next 3 hours as for example in our team not everyone has responded to the project. Rendering if you want to do it decent will also not happen in a couple of hours but more in days. Working simultaniously on models is also not possible due to the majority of team members being in almost the same time zone.


Anyway it's to early for me to come up with better ideas at the moment

3-4 weeks would give a nice timeframe, however, I want to keep a certain amount of pressure on. I am hoping we do more than one of these so lets see what we get after 7. I am not against extensions if there is no final submissions. If this is too tight in the end then perhaps you can start a second run with more time? Yes, ARX and all pro-e is the goal...
