Templates and System Parameters

I am setting up a template for drawings, in the title block I am using System parameters to fill in the fields automatically from the model file. I can't get 2 variables working correctly, the first is &description and the second is &modeled_by. after I save the template, I open a model and start a new drw file with the model name as the drw name. When it opens up, other variables like &dwg_name and &current_sheet are working correctly but the 2 I mentioned come in as &DESCRIPTION:2 and &MODELED_BY:2 and therefore do not capture the strings correctly from the model. Any help or clues?

You must have multiple files (parts or assemblies) in your drawing.


The parameters showing up correctly are parameters from drawing (&dwg_name and &current_sheet)and others (&DESCRIPTION:2 and &MODELED_BY:2) are from model.


Prior to retriving the format, you need to set the current model to you one you want to use.
