This topic needs a better title

Hi users4,

I got it.

yeah, the gap still exists and I made another sample with 2 surfaces, next i merged them, it also has gap. So, i think that the image's not good when we zoom in, it doesn't matter

But you don't worry because ifthe surfaces have still gap (merging surfaces), weprobablycan't thicken it. I'm sure that.

Let make something new, and we'll share experience.

Hi Foolamankh,

I tried all possible means to remove those gaps, but somehow can't get rid of them. I was wondering if using the copy paste and then theSOLIDIFY optins would work. For using the solidify option, I selected the surface (the thickened surface), but the option was still grey.

My leaflet is supposed to be flexible and made of a polymeric material, so will using the Solidify option serve the purpose?I need to run a flow analysis later on and the CFD software detects all these small edges and gaps and blows things up. So I have to fix them in Pro/E itself.

Any comments? Thnaks a lot for all the help.

hi users4,

Solidify in WF2's likeprotrusion->solid->use quilt in pro2001. Sothe modelhave to wrap by close surfaces (no gaps, surfaces should be merged). Therefore, whenyou chose thickened surface, that option's still grey.

Certainly, you can also make part by solidify. But you should choose easy way to do it.

I assure that your model has no gap (between 3 surfs),I used the drawing mode, andI saw thatthere's only one line between mid and sides (if it has gap, it must be 2 lines
