Toggle leader type - Default option?

Is there a way to change the leader type to default being under notes. I'm getting tired of always using "toggle leader type" after placing a note or creating a detailed view...

In drawing options(.dtl file) check theese options:


chamfer_45deg_leader_style
view_note


I am not sure about this, but give it a try.


What leader type do you want?

The top one is how a note is shown by default. I always change the leader type to the one at the bottom.

I tried the options you suggested but it didn't do the trick.

I assume you are using a drawing template to create your drawings. Try changing the setting in the template drawing if possible or if you have an administrator see if they would make the change. My understanding is theDTL settings get saved and are specific to a drawing so if this was not the setting when the template was created this might explain why it keeps reverting back to the other style.
