Turn off tool tips in WF 4

Anyone know how to turn off the tool tips on icons? The box that shows the description in WF 4 is huge...very distracting. I have looked at the config.pro options and I can't see anyway to turn it off.

I hadn't noticed that before. Thanks, now it will stand out like a sore thumb. Looks like more "Windoze standardization". You can change the font size in your Windoze Display Properties/Appearance/Advanced/ToolTip. Of course, this will change all Windoze apps tooltips.

Sorry for pointing it out

. I tried changing the font size, text gets smaller the box is still huge.

So the tooltips are turned off/on from in Windows and not an option in ProE?

I'm running ProE Wildfire 5.0 and I don't have a tooltip and would like to. Can't find the option in ProE to turn it on.

Try setting the option enable_popup_help. You need to close and then re-open ProE for the change to take effect.

I go to file>drawing options, but when I type it in it doesn't accept it,
like it's not an option that can be changed.

Something is turning it on and off though 'cuz sometimes I have the tooltip and sometimes I don't.

OK I figured it out. It is set to yes* currently so something is making it turn off. Currently with that option set to yes I'm still not getting a tooltip.

I've discovered something strange. When I hover over an icon like the "Sketch" tool I don't get a tool tip. However if I first hover over the "Appearance Gallery" icon I do get a tooltip and then hover back over to the sketch tool and I now get a tooltip for the "Sketch" tool.

So now when I change windows or redraw the screen it starts over again.

Definitely strange. I'm not having that problem but do notice it takes a second or two before the tool tip shows.
