Unable to Drag Datum Symbol from GTOL

I have had this happen to me a few times and can never
figure out why it is doing it or how to rectify it.

I attach a GTOL to a surface, with a leader. I also have
a datum plane running through that surface, on which I
click>RMB>properties>Placement 'In Gtol'.

It gets attached to the GTOL box underneath it as I
expect it to. BUT for some reason, I cannot always select
it and drag it down so that it shows the triangle
properly. It just seems unpickable and undragable, which
is no good for a drawing that is to be used.

See image for the state it gets stuck in...

Any help REALLY appreciated!

Thanks.

for selection right click/pick from list/datum tag....this will allow you to select datum tag only...after that tou can move it..

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but alas, I have already tried that.

Also tried to Search for it, but most of the search items
are greyed out...

Try searching for a Shown Datum Plane in search. You will also need the include submodels box checked.

I need to stay calm as I write this, as I have no use for the "toilet plunger" attachment.

You should have the option to change back to the "old school" attachment. It works really well. You can put it about anywhere you want. Pick and drag, done.
