Holy schmoly, the architecture blogs have got they knickers in a real twist over this building

Got to say that that is one of the ugliest buildings I have ever seen. If people are getting credit for putting angles into their designs then I must be a genius, coz I use angles every day

Kev

Boy that's an ugly building.

Hopefully the sport will live up to the all the expectations and be less controversial than the currently exciting tour de France.

Speaking of sport, anyone seen Kung Fu Panda? I saw it last week, was pretty cool, though I don't think the duck is the panda's real dad!!!

We should see some new world records in swimming. I was justreading about how Speedo engineered a new low drag suit using CFD. I love sports so I hope the games go well, but sometimes I think we've gone overboard. At some point we're not going to be able to go any faster or jump higher. We're going to spend more and more money to gain fewer and fewer milliseconds. What then- Chess?

This is where all those valuable chemists come into play. The work they are doing at the moment to help the richer nations achieve faster times can only be commended. 'course the downside is a lower life expectancy for the athletes, but there'll be more of them in the next crop........

Spot which side of the fence I don't sit on

EDIT:-

The above rant was sponsored by me, is my views and is the reason why I will find it very difficult to watch what has become a laboratory experiment
