Hopefully the sport will live up to the all the expectations and be less controversial than the currently exciting tour de France.

Speaking of sport, anyone seen Kung Fu Panda? I saw it last week, was pretty cool, though I don't think the duck is the panda's real dad!!!

This site does seem to have more activity than the others, but Skint's right. There's been a lot of off topic stuff lately that doesn't have anything to do with Forum category they're posted in. Whatever happened to the Moderators?

I may be wrong here but I don't think it's wrong or bad to go off topic a bit sometimes. Brings a bit of atmosphere into the forum and I think makes it a nicer place and possibly more approachable.

Gotta agree with Michael here, nice to have some banter in a thread, but I do think that a seperate area (as per -Skint-'s post) would be a nice to have.

Kev

PS For the more trivial stuff I often post on Eng-Tips, lots of forums there that cater for silly topics eg The Olympics

I'll be heading out to China late September / early October. I was last there in 2000 so it will be interesting to see the changes there has been in that time. I'll be in the South though. Should be interesting though.
