Hi all,

I think 'You knows' just started this thread to help people on WF4.
I gone bit ahead, to help more, by sending list of major enhancements
I am really happy to see, still I am getting hundreds of emails daily requesting those lists.

Take everything as positive rather than bashing a software.

I agree WF1 and WF2 got many bugs compared to WF3 and what I reckon from my experience is that bugs in WF3 arevery less.

Also I understand from our reseller that WF4 still not yet released. ( only in jan 2008)

What is available now is only pre- production (naturally preproduction releases are not stable)

I m very glad that Mr.Leow work very hard for the technology upgradation.


Thanx again leow. Upgradation pdf is marvelous.


Switching from wf3 to wf4 is very friutful for me especailly when u r in assembly and activite the part. All the remaining part become dim or u may called it semi transparent.


Remove feature is mind blowing.


this feature is also availabe in wf3 for the data doctor only ( in my opinion)


Can anybody tell me how to run pro-mechanica on vista? (for wf3 and wf4)

I hear wf5 will have g2 rounds like unigraphics

When does it come out? I've needed this for a long time I wish they would put in WF 4


Screw the bugs, I need the enhancements now, like I mean today.

Forget about it. The only hope to see g2 rounds in Pro/E is a
request of a really big customer (like Toyota or VW). No
request - no g2 rounds.

Autoround feature is also available in WF2 by typing "allow_round_all" and setting it to "yes" in config.

Features under hidden config options are usually just prototypes, first
attempts with limited capabilities. "Remove" and "Autoround" in WF4 are
much more powerful than the corresponding features that you can find in
WF3 with config options set.

The righ click to flip arrows of dimensions when moving them during draftingis disabled in WF4.

Is there any config option to set it back?
