Witness Line Editing

I have a particular dwg that I need to erase the witness lines & only show the arrows & dim text. When I right click on the dim & select Properties then erase line it actually gives me a double arrow on the other side...which I do not want. I have figuring that I need to change my config.pro somehow so that when I do erase the line it doesn't add that double arrow.

Has anyone come across this issue?

Thanks for your help,

Hi, Creator6
Go to "Format"/ "Arrow style" and select "Arrowhead" .
Hope this information is useful for you.

You are only going to be able to erase one witness line not both. To change the double arrow to a single arrow, change the clip_dim_arrow_style in the drawing.dtl to arrowhead.

Thanks all...I got a handle on all that now & see that it won't allow us to erase both lines....I guess I will have to tell my boss that he will have to live with that until they update or fix that issue.

Thanks for all the input.

If you need to show the dimension without the witness lines here is a work around. In the Drawing Options set the witness_line_delta value to 0. You can then drag the witness line drag points so they are in-line with the arrow heads.
