(SKILLS CHALLENGE) text on 3D surface

I dont project a sketch when I do this. I copy the surface that I want the text on. Create a plane above the surface, make my lettering then cut out the outside of the surface leaving the thin surface lettering, then justthicken it normal toitself. It should only be a few features.

Hi there!

I'm looking to make a part in Pro/E that could give me a protrusion on a piece of sheetmetal but not really a traditional protrusion. I'd like to make that just like it was made by a punch (i.e. a groove behind the plate and the protrusion at the front).

Is this able to be made???

If you could help I would appreciate it

thanks

Sorry answered the question, but saw too late how old it was and that it was already answered.
