RENDERING...Q&A and GALLERY

Nice job RC, great first render.

I used that same lighting technique when I was rendering the Mustang inside the modeled room. All the lighting was outside of the room so and light that got inside the room was through the windows.

Thank you,

The lighting is really hard for me right now. It takes me over 2 hours just playing with the damn lighting then sample window, then lighting, then sample window.........

But I've done about 6 different ones this week and they are getting a lot better. I'm rendering one now.. If it looks cool, i'll post it up.

RC
Great work!, we expect more images from you

nice effects dho, very nice start, dont forget to add perspective, it adds ton's of realism

Thats a nice looking render RC, I would lower the reflectivity of the floor. Too much reflection though realistic will take away from the model. Good improvements tho.

Here's another. For those that may not know, this is a common electric hydraulic pump for lowriders. If you have visited my website then you likely know I wrote a book called THE SCIENCE OF HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION. And I'm on a new TV show airing in JUNE and again sometime in the fall as a Judge on two episodes call THE WAR OF THE WHEELS.

My full time job is a TOOL DESIGNER for Ra-Tech Cad Services located close to Niagara Falls on the CANADIAN SIDE. EH!...

Work here is slow, REAL SLOW! Anyone know of any jobs in ONTARIO CANADA? or POSSIBLY IN CALIFORNIA? I've been doing this for 8 years now with BIG company names under my belt.

I'll post more pics and I can. I HAVE THOUSANDS OF MODELS but only just started rendering last week.

Hello Skywalker

Nice rendering effects. Are you using Pro-E ARX or another render engine to get these effects. I have just started to get into photography and have just discovered what depth of field does

. Keep rendering with those great effects.

Cool model skywalker
smiley32.gif
and yes the depth of field effects are nice. The only thing im not sure about is the lens flare on the front. Did you do that in Photoshop or is that a part of ARX ?

Stevenqneuk, I want to start getting into photography also, thinking of spending approx

Hi again,

I only use Pro/Engineer ARX for render. You know, when you set Photolux in render setting menu you can use these kind of effects . The lens flare and deep of field effects are in special effects menu.

For deep of field , you have to set a perspective view, then the deep effect will activate.

For the lens flare you have to put a point light where you want to see lens effect in your model.

If you want more information, i can post some screenshots about menus.

See u

Note: Forgive me for my english :) i know its not perfect...

The render is lacking many details. Put more time into the materials and setup. I also would not use lens flare or make it more subtle. It is too bright.

I have been working on this bathroom for a scenery to render my current invention. It is still a work in progress missing many details but still enough done to show. Sorry the image is so big, its the size of my monitor and I render everything to my monitor. I would resize it in PS but I havent installed it on the new computer yet. Also, sorry I havent been around, very busy but atleast I am posting an image. Enjoy!

Wow,

Very nice work. It looks nothing like the bathroom my kids use.

BTW, It looks like ... form the perspective and the reflection ... that there is no door? Though it would not be the first bathroom I exited through the window but it would be the first one I came in that way.

LOL, your right, there isnt a door. Good observation. That will be the next addition. I still have alot of little details to bring the realism out in it. Decorations, toothbrushes, pictures, etc. I will post updates today most likely.

Thanks for the comments
