Great work everone, all the pics look great. I'll post some pics of some rendering I've done at mylast job. They are all done in just photorender. Very limited to what you can do with it. Kind of disappointing that it won't reflect upon its own model. Look closely at the HD ring pic. When I switched jobs, I moved over to working on Solidworks. Anyone out there know of any good tutorial for rendering in SW. I've been kind of playing around with it in my free time, from what I can see, Pro has a better basic package. Keep up the good work everyone.

thanx in advance

Sorry I havent been around. I cant believe how many PM's I have...like 5 pages.

Your renders are really looking much better Skwasim, keep making small adjustments. The chrome is just based on the room and lighting. In the blue car on the last page that render was done exactly how I posted it with that room setup.

DBUDWORTH...those are really nice looking renders for photorenderer, good job.

JAYUY...nice models, what type of turbine is that? Get back with me in PM for the textures.

CPiotrowski,

Thanks for your reply, by the way i'm working with steam and gas turbine design, the model that i attached is a transition piece and fuel nozzle of gas turbine combustor.

Very smooth modeling MIKO, very smooth. Great work, keep going.

I am gonna suggest that the admin here start us a MODELING WIP forum. That will be a place where you start a topic with your model description and show updates you have done by posting pics until the model is taken from start to finish in modeling, problems or whatever on the way, then CLay render to Textured rendering.

HI ALL,

Here is my new model done in proe photorender and transfered to my sharp 903sh 3.2 megapixel mobile phone, since the limit of uploading an image is only 50kb, using my mobile phone i was able to resize the picture an split into four.

Hi Skwasim-mile ... When I comletely done my model of Mustang, than I'll sent it to you.. but at this time I dont have much time for continue in modeling...

Your rendering look pretty good.

Skwasim...Decrease your highlightbrightness on your metals to 30 or less. Set the intensity to 80 or so. THe metal on the key is way too shiny. Lets see an update with those settings. Sending and uploading the Mustang file is basically impossible. THe .prt file is 95meg and the .igs is 75meg. The glock and the concept model can still be sent.

The floor is too reflective and the shine is still too bright. I wish the pics were better quality so I could accurately help you. I dont have any tutorials for PS. I learned it on my own.
