Some surfaces behaviour makes me confused

So, let take a look how does final top surf look like. The outlook is same, but the approach includes now at least 4 steps to obtain side curve and last BB surface

the same with side surf which is also built now on "BB" curves

the point is - one can obtain curve with curvature transitions on both side with going into complicated relations(which I tend to belive still deliver best results though

the time has come..

or maybe - the right time is comming for ... big update of my web page

I want to anounce that from this day, after 3-4 weeks proe-warszat will have new layout and content ready to check it out.

I spent last few months on bringing some new stuff to life

The schedule is following:

*in the next week there should be new proe-warsztat ready in polish version

*next two - three weeks will take me preparing english content(I hope)

so stay tuned for further news

That is not the real product, just a mockup. This model is part of a rendering for Leo Burnett (an advertising agency) for and the Indy Racing Indy Penske Racing. We used the Indy Car and helmet to place decals and graphics for a new Marlboro product. With our client we basically designed the next rev graphics for the race car.

The model was created from Google images of the bell helmet.Bell now uses Pro/E BTW.

imagine this - sitting at job in the office equiped with 32 " LCD`s turned on whole day. Watching them as the required testing of software, imposible? Not at all.

That is the pleasure of being software engineer responsible for sat, cab, tr receivers

. Guys I set with for some time in the same room.

Finally I took decision to move out because of my neck(too often taking a look what is already displayed in TV is not to healty for neck

)

yeah, site is already splited into two lenguage version. Buttons are there, sections are there too, but the content is out there

I am still working on an article and some tips, this would take some time(not to mention about translating to english)

I am not planning to move out...

from other side, the job like this - making 3D model based on great sketches - looks intresting to me though

still it would be at leat wrong, claiming this is something close to A-class surfacing
smiley36.gif

this model lacks even G2 transition. There are only G1 introduced as whole model long

ok, there is one BB with G2 but I did to obtain curve for next BB of main surface

I am to lazy to tune splines in the sketcher

looks pretty nice! did you use bart's lattice structure method?
i also created one(http://i33.tinypic.com/dvk1gj.jpg), it's half finished tho. what's the procedure for modeling this kind of part in proE? i mean you model the whole part as a single surface(quilt), thicken the surface, and split it into to two parts?(multibody part?) (the green and gray parts in the sketched image)

I like to use a parting surface to delineate between rubber and plastic parts. upload the model and images you used to sketch around.

*main curves

main surface structure:

first - VSS(for upper surface and side curve)

second - BB with curvature to obtain rear curve

third - last BB(main surface)

p.s This is my 900 post!

I would have never bet on it!

In parrallel I was modeling two other things which I think are at the level to show them here

first was a drill based on khalid design from PDF

and this is my attempt to make it in pro/e

I want to welcome You all to visit my page and give a feedback.
