RENDERING...Q&A and GALLERY

Actually, I have stopped work on the belair until I can upgrade my computer. Also, my wildfire has gone corrupt so I have to figure that out also. I will try to remove and reinstall but thats a risk that I wont be able to get it to install again. I may be done for a while unfortunately.

Nice last render CP, hope you get going again with your wildfire... guess these things always happen when you least want them too.

Wasim, best of luck with the car model, i think your a brave man

A small project I have started at home recently is to model a toy AT-ST ( remember the Walker from star wars that attacked the speeders in the forest etc )... I have one of the original 15" models lying around my house and thought it would make for a good learning piece. Will post a few pictures of the feet & legs when I get chance.

At the moment, my learning curve seems to have slowed down as I am trying to delve into some more complex features of pro-e such as parameters, family tables etc, all Alien to me

If you add motion blur in PS it would seams that it was taken photograph from road

I like your platform. Is that a graphic on the base plane? Looks like
insulation? How did you get that into your render?

CPiotrowski

That car render needs more light. Hurts my eyes to look at it
;) Would be cool to get your thoughts on who should win the next
furniture competition. See posts below. I need your responses by
Sunday night at which point the links go live on the site.

chosen a winner. I thought the mcad forum might appreciate taking a close
look before the winners are announced.

Great one

How did you create this effect on windshield? it seams like two surfaces, one darker (small one) and one lighter.

CP... That pretty sweet mate. Just using that image, what did you actually use photoshop for, im just curious as to how much photoshop work goes into your renders ?

Been away from both pro-e and this forum for a while, glad to be back

The windshield is two different layers. Both are trimmed to eachother to give me the freedom to make a border. It's not suppose to look like that tho. THe border is suppose to be darker and more opaque than the windshield but with my model issues (trasparencey and things) it wont render out correctly. This render should look much better than it does if it werent for all the problems I am having. There is no bump map on the paints, no trnasparency on windows or lenses, no depth of view, no falloff map for lighting. Unfortunetly this render is missing alot of things but gladly still comes out looking nice.

As far as PhotoShop goes, some images I do more than other, some have no PS action at all, usually just a contrast or lighting adjustment to either add a little more light or remove light. Nothing too drastic but it helps.

Hi CP.Really veri nice model. Look likemodel from some Computergame like NFS

Take a look at my last render of my model ofMustangin ARX.

How did you create those straps which are on the bonnet and roof? Are there more surfaces which everyone is connected to other one with G2? Or how .. ?

I see that my model of airplane isvery simpleopposite your Mustang

(Please sorry for mistakes in sentences)

Model looks good MIKO but you still need to create a room for your renders, it will greatly improve the fianl image.

The stripes on the hood and roof is a texture made in PS applied planar.

I like the lighting better.

Not sure if you guys care so much but we have this just tonight announced
the photoreal furniture competition winners. The furniture on the site is all
computer rendered often with Image Studio to name a few. One
that supposedly usesa gyroscope does not look possible. Well, you know it is fake anyway. Interesting though.

Hi design-engine, there are some really great renders on the furniture designs, and some fantastic styles and designs. What does the winner recieve, does he/she get thier designs put into production ?

Bart
