Wildfire 3.0 whats new.

LWA file formats are now supported in the appearanceeditor for .lwa material files.

May be this is interesting for rendering lovers.

...But I think that one thing is still missing in my render

the photoreality (i mean realism)of rendered models. The problem is solvable by hundret hours spent with ARX.

Thats some good info. I have Lightwave and all the material files for it. Too bad I will never in a million years be able to get WF3.

Few tips about your rendering:
When using textures, use multiply copies if your texture is small, or use large textures. When using multiply copies try to set X, Y copies bigger then 1, this way your texture would multiply and you would have smoother texture.

As for uploading high resolution images here, yes you can't upload image bigger then 50kb but if you have web site where you can host your high resolution images, then you can set direct link to those images here.
If you don't have hosting site, you can use http://imageshack.us/index.phpfor hosting images, its free.

Hi RD

Great rendering, looks like that hi-fi could be in the shops soon lol. Is the bluedisplay part of the model or a decal you applied to the surface?

Great image !!!

Lee - Still working on the pens, nearly there though.

Yup, it will be in the shops soon! The display is a decal that has been applied to the LCD that is behind the centre black part. Thecentre black part is clear plastic with a black decal on the back surface, I have used an opacity mask so that the actual display shines through. The original render is 3200x2400 300dpi and it took just over 7 hours to render on a Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor with 2 Gb RAM.

Glad you like it.

Hi all

Zaki..

Your render is good but try to play with more realistic walls and floors, Make sure that you have good position of lights.. You can upload the high resolution images in ziped file as well... good luck
