Some surfaces behaviour makes me confused

just to not waste the time of attendees I want to share the pics of the big update I had intoduced into my last surfacing challange

the very first pic of it display the problem with overall surface flow and layout of patches

these have been and still are the main problem I am trying to face

with a new approach I changed everything starded from blank model

I am ware that the improvement xould be not visible on the screen though

however if the quality is considered I suppose I made big steps forward

Jacek,

When your done with that let me have it and Ill create a wiring diagram in RSD and route the wires for the motor and cord and pot switch using Pro/CABLE RSD combo of course!

That is looking good. You are doing all this without ISDX correct? Any chance you'll be doing a tutorial on this?

I do realy consider making a tutorial.

This, however won`t be soon, at least not to the model of this drill/screwer related.

As I mentioned before - I headed up 1000 post on this forum and I want to prepare something special becasue of it. I am thinking about sharing the model of laser reader witch is for a long ready.

to not leave You guys waiting for detailed tut take a look on these few pics below with introduce of general idea behind my appraoch

still - I am interested in evaluating it(appraoch) by all of You

1)laying main "box" curves

2)main body surface(dealing with 3nd boundary conditions)

3) the very first side surface

yesterday I did patching work, today I took few minutes to merge them all

finaly the surfaces around button/triger looks good enogh to me!

thx Skint

these two patches were most demanded to me. They required extra "attack plan", so that is the direction the biggest part of effort is invested!

btw - shouldn`t You be in France?

I have a couple more hours of work to get done before going off to get drunk at my xmas party... im going to have a serious hangover for my flight which is tomorrow morning :)

Skint

if cute girls are going to be invited consider these two sittuations:

- drink less, wait, take advantage of being sober more than others
smiley2.gif

-drink more. It is enough to not bother yurself - why such cute girls spend more time within someone stupidier than engineer
smiley36.gif

of course - all of above are just jokes
smiley17.gif

have fun a do not miss the way back home!

cheers

Solidworm

well then feel invited!

btw - devoted fans can expect special gifts at the beggining of the next year, so stay tuned!

Keep it up.

thanks, I appriaciate it

Step no. 9) Creating side surfaces

First create surface between front and rear surfaces. Then use it as a base to create auxiliary side surface

10)Create second "front" surface for grip

11)Creating of "extra" grip surfaces

Make additinal sketches and project them onto main handle surface. Than use them as a base for creating final surfaces with BB

12) triming created surface

make a sketch and project it onto required surfaces
